The Liebster Award!

Hi Everyone!

WOW!!!!! What an honor it is to be nominated for the Liebster Award!  Thank you so much to Barb of ‘Bipolar Barb’

I am incredibly honored for this and so thankful for my blogging journey.  It’s unbelievable that I only started a few months ago and the amount of positive feedback I’ve received is absolutely amazing!!

Here are the rules:

  • Create a new post thanking the person who nominated you, provide the link to their blog. (From Mark: please provide a link to this post, too https://stigmaunraveled.com/2018/01/04/the-liebster-award/ —  — so I get a pingback that you’ve posted, because I want to read your answers!)
  •  Include award graphic.
  • Answer the questions provided.
  • Create a new set of 10 questions for your nominees to answer.
  • Nominate 5-11 upcoming or recently followed bloggers and share your post with them so they see it.

Here are my set of 10 questions that Barb asked me to answer

  1. How long have you been blogging?
    1. Since November of 2017 after a mental breakdown I realized that it was time to take control of my life and to stop being the victim of my own depression and self hate.
  2. What made you decide to start your blog?
    1. Many things.  My father is a therapist.  Let’s leave it at that.  We have an estranged relationship.
  3. Have you had other blogs in the past?
    1. When I was 15 I was on Live Journal and LOVED every minute of it until it went offline and lost everything.. RIP SpikeyDreamr!
  4. What do you like/love about blogging?
    1. I love being able to share my voice in an open enviroment where there is no judgement.  It brings so much peace to my heart knowing that I’m helping others and helping myself achieve success at the same time.
  5. Do you do any other writing aside from your blog? If so, what kind of writing do you do?
    1. I do not.. I’ve thought about writing a book or memoir..  The world needs to stop the stigma with mental illness and realize that WE ARE HUMAN!  WE HAVE FEELINGS TOO!
  6. What are your favorite book genres?
    1. You know.. I love practicle books.. Self help books are my favorite.. I loved Twilight.. I know I know..  As I get better at blogging I know my reading interest will peak.. I’m an Audible kind of guy too 🙂

    1. My mom’s lasagna.  Nothing compares to her lasagna… Mmmm Lasagna.. Did I say I like Lasagna?

    1. Stepmom.  I cry everytime..
  9. Have you ever binge-watched a TV show?
    1. Oh YES!! I’m a Netflix hardcore addict!
  10. Game of Thrones—yes or no?
    1. YES!!!!!!!!  I’m a late follower of GOT but the violence is just so amazing to watch….. I mean I don’t preach violence right? But GOT violence is in a class act of it’s own…

Here are my set of 10 questions for my nominees:

  1. What made you want to start blogging?

  3. Thank you so much for answering my questions! I love learning a little more about other mental health bloggers that they may not have posted about. Dragon violence rocks!!!!

I had a LiveJournal that I kept for about a year in 2004. Believe it or not, it still exists! It’s private though, and just ramblings and bullet points about what I did that day lol
